Having H1 and going for L1...Urgent

Hi,

I have H1 visa, but my current employer requested to me stay back and they are filing L1 B.

What will happen? is H1 will be cancelling?
Is there any problem for L1 visa?

Please respond me soon, tom i have app at chennai.
