L2 Employment Authorization

Hi,
Once we initiate the EAD for L2, can we go out of US? Or should we be in US through out 90 day period when EAD is processed. Could anyone clarify.

Your I-94 determines your status for EAD approval and if you leave US, the status cannot be verified to issue L2 EAD. It is advised to stay until EAD is processed.
