  • Saving L1B

    Hello,

I'm working on L1B visa in US for last 8 months. I got my H1B approved this year with COS. Another consulting firm applied for my H1B. I heard from this forum that my L1B will be invalid on Sept 30 12:00 am. I'll automatically be on H1 from Oct 01.

    1) I want to save my L1B and also read that "Leap frog" is the only option for me now. Is this true ?

    2) I don't want to work on H1B visa now since the job market is bad. Is this the correct decision ?

    3) Will my H1B employer agree to this ?

    Thank you.

--Yes, as of now its feasible solution

    --You have to decide.

    3) Will my H1B employer agree to this ?

--Give some genuine reason like you have signed contract and you cant break it, something like that. Make sure its "Genuine", They might ask you copy of contract. Or tell them you have mutual bonding with current employer. up to you !

BTW if you have EAC# (assuming its yours) then you can get it transferred to L1 employer.
