L1 extension issue

Hello all,

I am here in US on L1 Blanket and my Visa is expiring in Dec end this year.
I have to go to India in September and return back in November so it wont be possible for me to apply for an extension now as I would not be getting my approval in less than 3 months.

I am planning to get a fresh L1 stamped when I go to India some time in November. Would that be possible to do as my Visa expires in Dec and if I can get a new L1B stamped in November?

Is there any law that prohibits doing that?

Thanks for this information.
I got in touch with the Visa department of my employer and they told me that the consulate refuses to stamp a fresh L1 until the first one is active.

Can someone tell if this is at all possible from personal experience....

Can anyone please let me know the answer to my questions?
Also I just got to see so many threads related to L1 extension RFE and rejections. Has it really started lately and is there a risk of applying an extension from here?
