L2-EAD-Card-Approval Notice

I had applied for EAD on my L2 visa. On Aug 1st the status changed to card production ordered. On Aug 5th I got another status update saying they have sent me an approval notice. On Aug 7th, I recieved the EAD card.
Is the card the approval notice or will a separate approval notice be sent?
Please share if anybody has experience with this?

I can reply to your query. The approval notice is the sheet that the EAD card is attached to. There is no separate approval notice. The card is what you need for employment.

Thanks for the clarification. In some forums they were talking about Approval Notice and EAD card and I was confused.
The way the status update was done had also added to my confusion
First I got an update saying 'Card production ordered'. After 3-4 days it said 'Approval Notice Sent'. So I was under the impression there are two things.

My experience with Texas Service Center was good. I got it in about 40 days.
