Need help? L2 how long can stay in US, if L1 is leaving back to india

I need an urgent help. I am in L2 visa in US. My wife is in L1 visa.

How long L2 visa holder can stay and work in US, if L1 visa holder is returning back to india and maintains the L1 status enabled. ie., L1 visa holder is going to be relocated to indian company and maintains the L1 status enabled.

Please let me know the steps to be taken. If I get the answer, i would appreciate it.

Your status is dependent on her status. You must return to India when she does.

L2 status is void when the L1 holder leaves the US based L1 job.
