L2 Ead

Hi,

My wife is on L2 visa and has got her SSN recently . She wants to apply for her EAD Her L2 Visa and I-94 is expiring in Feb 2009 . My question is when an EAD is approved then is the I-94 date taken as the expiry date of EAD or is it 1 year from the date of approval.
Also is it faster to apply online or by mail ?
I could not find any threads on this in the forum . I would appreciate if someone can respond to my question

I-94 date is the usual expiration. Online is not faster. It would need a trip to ASC for biometrics while paper application saves you that hassle and the processing time is the same.
