Hi,

I went to US in June 2006 on L1B Visa....at that time, i applied for EAD and got it. After getting EAD, i returned to India. My L1B visa got expired in May 2008. Now in Sept 2008 i am going to Chicago on L1B visa. Do i have to apply for EAD again or can i apply for extension of existing EAD??

I am not an expert and i do not know anything about these but trying to learn all these because i have an issue.

Why do you need to apply for EAD. Doesn't having L1 B Visa stamped makes you eligible to work in US with the emplyer who filed your L1B. Why do you need EAD again.

L1 visa does not get EAD. Something is messed up in your story.
