I am in Canada since last 8 months. I worked for a company XYZ in India for 1 year before coming here. XYZ has other office in US. Now being in Canada I do not work for XYZ. But XYZ company wants to hire me in US.
Can XYZ file petition for L1 for me?
I found this on US state web site L classification applies to intracompany transferees who, within the three preceding years, have been employed abroad continuously for one year, and who will be employed by a branch, parent, affiliate, or subsidiary of that same employer in the U.S. in a managerial, executive, or specialized knowledge capacity;
