Resignation on L1 visa.

Here is the situation:

1. I am in US on L1 visa which is valid for next two years.
2. I got a good job in India and willing to go back to India.
3. As per my current company's policy notice period is 2 months.

Here are my Qs:

1. When I will be deemed as out of status immediately after resignation or from the date I am relieved from company?
2. Is it possible for company to revoke my L1 during my notice period?

Any suggestions are welcome.

The date you quit working is when you lose your status. The company cannot revoke your L1 till the last day of your work as they cannot employ and pay you you if they send a revoke.
