How to apply for L2

Hello all,

My company in US filed L1 Petition for me and just got it approved couple of days back. I want to take my wife and son with me. I have following queries:

1. Do I need to submit Petition for L2 in US or can I directly apply for L2 Visa when I apply for my L1.

Directly apply for L2 when you go for L1 visa.
