EAD Approved but L2 and L1 are still pending

We have appled for L1,L2 extension and EAD renewal at the same time- 3 months back.

But yesterday EAD got approved but still L1& L2 are in pending status.
We have replied to L1 RFE on Agu-13th and it is still pending.

How is it possible? Can some one please comment ?

It is possible by oversight and there is lot of disconnect within USCIS. In case the L1 gets denied, EAD is void too.

I am having EAD on L2 which is expiring on 1st May.
My L2 is expiring on 15th June.
Can I go ahead and apply for EAD renewal.
What will be the expiry on the new EAD?

You have to apply for EAD along with L1 and L2 extension. Date for EAD will be whatever the date the L1 was extended until.
