  • L2 EAD: required documents

    Hi,

I am having L2 visa and planning to apply for EAD next week. I will be going for paper application. I have made a list of documents that i need to send along with form I-765. Please let me know if this list is complete.

    1. copy of I94 both L1 and L2 visa holder
    2. 2 photos
    3. marriage certificate
    4. L1A visa petition copy
    5. copy of L-1 holders passport and visa
    6. copy of L2 passport and visa

I am having doubt about including following documents
    - payslip for L1 visa holder. Is it required?
    - also somewhere i read about including some blue card with signature for EAD. Is that required and from where can i get that?

Do i need to go for biometrics if I am doing paper filing. I have not applied for green card or anything else. this is going to be my first application in US.

    -cheers,
    sonia.

    Follow this: It is comprehensive.

L1 pay stub can be attached to prove that you hold L2 status. I donno about the blue card you talk about.

I am not a lawyer and you need to consult with one to validate any info posted on the forum and discuss your case specifics. H1b Question? Read the FAQ first.
