L1 visa

hi,

Am in US with B1 visa for the past 2.5 months....
i will be going back to india in another 2 days since my i-94 expires on nov 28th.
is it possible for me to apply for L1 visa immediately after going back to india? say by first week of dec... or i have to wait for some duration before applying for L1 visa... please advise.

Shreya,

You can apply for L1 visa immediately . When you say L1 Visa, I assume that you have L1 Pitition with you or you want to apply for L1 Pitition? Anyway, you should be able to apply immediately after you reached India.

Hi Shreya,

Well, you will have to apply for L1 through your company as soon as you reach India. Nor sure if you are planning to apply for L1B or L1A .If its L1B, you got be more specific on specialized tools that are developed by your company. If its L1A, as its for managers, you need to prepare PRD with all your roles and resposnibilities and day to day activities managing the project and resources...

There are two types of Petitions for each L1 .
L1B - Individual
L1B - Blanket
L1A - Individual
L1A - Blanket
