Enter US with L1 visa while on leave

I have my L1 B Blanket visa valid till Jun 2010 and also have an approved EAD(my husband is working on H1 and have applied for GC for both of us).I was working in US using my L1 visa for past 5 months and recently had to travel back to India and stay there for 2 months. Due to economic crisis, my Indian based company was not able to send me back to US for the same Pjt. Hence in order to retain my EAD status (ie, enter US with the same Visa status that you had while leaving the country), I applied for 3 month's leave at offshore and travelled back to US using my L1 visa. My Qn is..

1) Is it Ok to enter US using L1 visa while I'm on leave and not allocated to any Pjt currently.

2) Since I'm currently not working, how long can I stay in US on L1 visa without being paid. I would like to retain my L1 status and try to find a project within my company in next 1-2 months time.

3) Will this recent travel have any adverse effect on my GC processing.

1. It is fraud. You have to use AP.
2. Zero days.
3. Yes. It is fraud to enter on a work visa with no intention to work just to get immigration benefit.
