Question on EAD

Hi,

I am on L1 Visa. My wife is on L2 and I have filed EAD for my wife.
My question is, I have my H1 approval in my hands . Lets say that i decide that I want to work on H1..can my wife still work on EAD or how is it like??
Basically i wuld like to know the rules of working on EAD.

L2 EAD and status is valid only until you hold L1 status. The day your status changes to H1b, both L2 status and EAD are void. Any work on it is unauthorized and illegal including the status.

Whenever a H1b Change of Status is filed, L2 COS to H4 has to be filed to ensure the L2 does not become illegal.
