I have a question:
We are a very small family business. The owner is working out of an LLC in the US and we are in 2 other employees in Canada. (canada comapny is 2 years old, US comapny is 1 year old).
We rent our staff per project and assignment.
We make good money, on our first year of business we rolled near 500k.
We want to transfer one of the employees from Canada to the US office on L1B
Being very small, does that looked on badly?
The specialized knowledge is based on in house and out side training in the last 12 months, plus the fact that we deal with proprietary information.
The spouse and child of the employee will not be joining at first. So on the I129 we did not ask for dependents. But if they want to move later, can they just apply for L2 visa at the consulate, or, if the petition did not request dependants it cannot be done later?
(No port of entry processing, no one is a Canadian citizen)
what do u guys think?
Thanks
