List of Douments required to renewal of L1,L2

Hi

My husband is on L1 visa which is going to expire soon in early April'09. So we are thinking to apply for extension now through my husband's company.

We have also planned to go to India in Feb.

My questions are,

Usually how much time it will take to get approval for L1/L2 extn?

Once we apply for extension, can we go to India in between? Or is it possible that he stays here while waiting for approval and I can travel to India meanwhile?

Also what are the documents required?

I ll really appriciate your help.Please reply me ASAP because we need to apply it soon as we are planning to travel with my 6 months old baby to India in feb.

Travel on a pending application with USCIS is never recommended. It takes 2-6 months for approval/denial.
