I am in the US on L1 visa and my mother is holding valid B1 visa stamped for 6 months. However on visitor visa the I-94 is stamped only for 6mths and she cant stay here for longer without extension or going back. Can I change her status to L2 dependent? As per the USCIS site L2 is only for spouse/children of L1 visa holder, but is there anyway that parents can be called on L2?
