L1,L2 Schedule the appoitment issue(URGENT)

I got the L1A Petition approval notice on Dec.11
and planning to leave the US on Dec.23.
My fiancee was my high school classmate.
we have been together more than 6 years.
and we are planning to get the marriage certificate on Dec.31 2008.
My question is ,

1,Could I shedule the appoitment before Dec.31 by making a phonecall ?
for both MY L1A and my wife L2.
usually it takes 28---30 days waiting period before the VISA-interview .

2,or I need to get the marriage certificate first ,then make the appoitment by phone?

3,is it feasible to have the interview by the new marriage certificate?

1. Appointment can be made earlier. But you should be married at the time of the interview. Phone/online or whichever system the consulate uses for appointments has to be followed.

3. You need the certificate as well as proof of any ceremony performed as per your beliefs.
