I have a question regarding L1b Visa. I am here in US for last 3 years on L1B Visa(Individual). My visa extension is due in Jan'09 and same for I-94 which is expiring on 23rd of January. My company has filed for L1B extension and got RFE on Dec 10 which is to be submitted by 20 Jan,2009. As at this time lots of L1B extensions are getting denied. So is it advisble here to withdraw the case and go for new L1B petition(Blanket) if Yes then I have a questions on that..
Question :- I am with this company ( In same project ) for last 4+ years wherein 1.5 yrs on Offshore and then transferred to US and stayed here around 3 years. Is it manadatory to Stay offshore for atleast 1 year before going for new L1B visa. Considering all above facts( with same company for last 3 yrs in US and 1.5 yrs in offshore) can you tell me whether i can go for New L1B Visa(Blanket).
