L2 - EID and SSN

Hi All,
I am currently having an L1 and my wife is in L2. I am planning to apply for EID and SSN. Can any of you please tell me what is the process of applying EID and whether i can apply SSN for her?

not sure about EID, but for SSN you need to go to nearest SSA office, check out the office locator on ssa.gov

Processing time is 60-90 days. Upon receipt of an EAD you can go to nearest SSA office to obtain SSN card.

L2 - EID and SSN

so...without EID, can we get SSN for L2?

EID is not the right term. It is EAD for employment and SSN can be obtained for L2 without EAD. Read the posts and change the term that you misused.
