Im going to US with a L1 B visa along with my wife. If we give birth to a baby in us, how far we are eligible for green card.

---- If your wife gives birth to a baby in US, the baby will be given US citizenship

---- Green card is an immigration status that you have to apply for. Your baby can sponsor you after attaining the age of 18 years. By having a baby in US does not qualify you for green card

US citizen baby

You will not have any advantage if your baby is delivered in the USA. Your baby would have option at her/his 18th birthday to choose if he/she wants to be US citizen.
If your wife is in later stage of pregnancy then better stay at home. You will be endangering her health.
