Hi,
We need a consultation regarding our current visa situation.
Me and my husband were working in US on separate L1 visas from same company. Now as my project is going to finish, my company wants me to be back. With a small baby, its not possible for me to go back right now. I have a few questions-
1. Can I apply for L2 from US as my husband's dependent, so that I don't have to travel back to file L2? How much time does it usually take to get the L2 visa or COS?
2. When can I apply for EAD? Is it after I get my L2? How much time tentatively it takes to get EAD?
3. Can I resign from my company after filing L2, and still be here with my husband?
Kindly help. We are in great dilemma.
