H1 - L2

Hi

I am on H1b, My project is going to end by 31 March.
My wife is in L1b. I am planning to change my visa status from H1 to L2.
Is it possible?

If Yes, how should I go about it? Consult an attorney? or file it myself?
How much time shd it take to get an EAD-L2 Visa.

I have also learned that after I get my EAD, I can file for adjustment of status to get a green card, as My wife is in L1B and not on L1A.Is it true?

If Yes, How much time will it take, as if it takes longer time n by that time if my wife goes back to India, my L2 becomes invalid- What happens then?

Have a L2 COS filed before your H1b job ends. You can do it now.
You can do it yourself if you can do some reading and spend time. If you can't go with an attorney.
2-6 months.
You really need to do some reading about GC. The EAD from L2 is different from GC EAD.
