Is it Possible to convert from H1 to L1? If so what would be the proceedure

As the job situation soo low now a days...My friend is working as L1 here and he have a position there to be taken.Is it possible to convert from H1 to L1 and work here, what would be the proceedure?

right now i am on H1, i want to convert to H1 to L1 as i heard we cannot work on H1 if the position is not a skilled position.

L1 has other restrictions and you need to read about L1 from the main immihelp page if you qualify.

Are you saying your H1 is for a position that does not qualify under Skilled Worker/Professional?
