Travel to USA on B1 when L1 is under Admin Processing
I have a valid B1 from my company, applied for L1 for the same company but got a 221g, can I enter on my B1 while I wait for the 221g approval.....I have been waiting for about 6 weeks now...

You can. You should not work though on B1.

If you worked like a full time employee working 40 or more hours per week then that was illegal.Comment

B1 is for business meetings, knowledge transfer, trainings, etc. Some companies have abused B1 visa for work by paying some paltry allowance plus offshore salary. It is illegal!

If you got paid through US payroll then you worked illegally. If you plan to enter on B1 and work on US payroll, you cannot.This is my opinion and not legal advice.Comment
