L1B Stamping

Anybody done fesh L1B stamping recently in India. Are US consulate very strict these days. Please let me know.

One of my friend working for a top company in India was rejected L1. His was a fresh L1. He had H1 long back. He's a Sr. Manager in the company. Any fresh visa now-a-days is at risk. A family friend who works for home land security told, now there's a lot of restriction for Fresh work related visas.

Many funny / foolish things are happening from USCIS. I was talking to a friend, he told his manager (French guy), had applied for h4 visa for his wife and 3 yr old son. His wife was given visa but his 3 yr old son's visa was rejected. The reason given was the little boy's name sounded like a terrorist name and so he could be a potential threat for US and so we reject it. They work for one of the major financial institutions.
