  • L1B extension denial - Can we appeal and work/stay in US

My L1B extension was denied 3rd April 2009 on grounds of "No special skills" ,after responding to RFE. My I94 expired already in Nov 2008.

Can I appeal and stay and continue to work. I was told I cannot do that.Is this correct.

What are my options? Can I apply for any other visas like L1A etc?

Please I need urgent advice on this.

    Regards

You need to leave the country asap and apply for another visa to re-enter. On what basis do you think you can "continue to work"???

Thanks for the Info.If an "Appeal" is done against the denial by my company, was the basis for my thinking that can coutinue further.

          Appeal does not allow work.

I am not a lawyer and you need to consult with one to validate any info posted on the forum and discuss your case specifics. H1b Question? Read the FAQ first.
