Dear ALL,
Please help and can someone advise me on the following please.
I am a inter company transferee on a L1A visa, I have my wife and my Child on a L2 visa,
We moved here last September as I was tasked with project of running the subsidary company out here for my UK employees.
My Boss advised me that he wouldnt commit to any other extensions at the moment and my Visa is due to run out at the end of July I approached him and I advised that it was not my intention to go home after only 1 year as we have given everything for this move, and would he allow me to apply for my green card which I would personally fund so that if he decided the Market was not for him , I would be in a position to seek aternative employment.
He agreed on the condition that I would not seek alternative employment,
I have tasked an attorney and paid a deposit for his services and my boss back in the UK signed a few forms but has not signed all of them.
However today we had a difference, and he sent me an e-mail so that he is giving me 7 days notice and he will fly me and my family home within 5 days.
I spoke to him after and explained various things to him and also reminded him of our "Gentlemans aggrement" but he would not have none of it and said basically he will not support me in the application and I should try to get my money back.
My wife is currently 7 months pregnant and the stress is not doing her good. and I also have a job offer confirmed in writing to me should I be able to legally switch and work for them.
Is there any way I can stay in the US and build a future for me and my family
