Re-entering US near visa expiry date

Hi,

I am currently on L1blanket and it expires November 2009. I have also applied for H1b and have not heard back on the status yet.
I would like to travel out of US for a week and reenter sometime in July 2009.

I will then have only 3 months for my L1 to expire.

1) Will I have any problems at the Port of Entry as I am nearing my visa expiry and am reentering US?
2) Is it ok to travel outside US when H1 is being processed?
3) What if my H1 is approved before I travel? Will it impose any restrictions on my travel?

-- You can enter before epiry of your L1 visa. but if you need to travell back outside USA then you need Visa to re-enter into USA.
