L1-B blanket visa got rejected in chennai consulate..

My employer had applied for L1 visa under blanket petition and subsequently i appeared for Visa interview at Chennai US consulate on 20 May 2009.
I was refused Visa under section 221(g) by the VO (failed to prove clearly as a specialized qualified profssional) and he gave me a "Blue sheet" and also returned my passport and form 1-129S.
He has Only ticked "Your blanket L-1 is not clearly approvable under section 8 CFR 214.2(I) (ii) (D) and INA 101(a)15(L)" in that blue sheet.

Now what is the alternative for me to get a workpermit?

Should i apply for L1B- individual petition?

What will be chances of my individual petition getting approved?Is there any time frame i should wait for before applying for L1 individual or i can go for it immediately.

will my L1-B blanket visa rejection have any impact on my individual petition at the time of filing as well as interview?

I already had a B1 visa with me..so at this stage can i fly with B1 visa with non-immigrant intent or is it not ok to travel with B1 now since its just one week my L1 got rejected? Wen will be the safe time to travel with B1 ?

I am in a complete fix...

Same is my case

I attended L1B Blanket visa interview on 13 Jan 2010. My petition has been kept pending under section 221(g) of INA.

The office handed over a white slip to me and said "You company has filed your visa under a wrong category(L1 B Blanket). They need to apply it under H1B or L petition on your behalf"

What I want to know is:-
1) Am I going to receive some communication from US consulate?
2) Does "Pending" means that they are doing some processing at their end and my visa can be approved in near future.
3) Do I/employer need to file H1B or L petition while this request is under "Pending"?

Please answer these questions.....

L1B not refused but asked for file L1 individual

My employer had applied for L1 visa under blanket petition and subsequently i appeared for Visa interview at an Indian US consulate on 4th Feb 2011.

I was denied Visa under section 221(g) by the VO but not refused & kept pending under INA 221(g)(Not clearly approvable) and he gave me a "White sheet" and returned my passport and form 1-129S.

VO toldme at the end of the interview that your application not completely approvable under blanket and ask your HR to file L1 individual for you.

Now my question is -

Should I apply immediately for L1 individual and if yes, what are the chances of getting it clear? Also, am I kept pending & should I wait for consulate to get back or completely denied under blanket and I should immediately file individual?

If my company files L1 individual then what time it takes.

PS: I've valid B1 Visa and I twice traveled to US for 5 weeks first time and 8 weeks second time, is that make any difference?
