  • Visa for a New born Indian child who's parents having L1 / L2 Visa

    Hi

I am an L1 Visa holder and My spouse having L2 Visa. Both of us were in US for Last two years. My wife who is pregnant recently went to India; as we decided have our child born in India. Once after delivery I would like to bring my spouse and New Born child back to US ASAP

I have following questions, can anyone help me?

    1) What is the earliest possible time I can get Visa (L2 Dependent) for the New Born Child?
    2) What is the procedures to get the visa for the new born?
    3) Since both of us (Spouse and me) has the L1/L2 visa, Do we need to take our new born child to US embassy for visa or it can be done without taking the child to US consulate?

    Thanks
    S

    1. As soon as you get the appointment.
    2. The same procedure you had for your wife's L2.
    3. All three of you need to go to the consulate.
