L1 visa requirements?

I've total 10+ years of IT experience and working in a senior position; my education is i've 10+2 and also did my Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Am i eligible to get L1 visa ?

I know someone, who got L1B visa for 10+2 and Diploma in computers.
Since you have diploma in Mechanical, you need to ask this question to your company lawyers.
