Can I travel outside US during the EAD in processing stage

Hi,

I came to US,CA on L2 visa (spouse dependent visa). I have recently applied for EAD and it is currently in the processing stage. Can someone please help me with my below questions regrading my travel.
1) Can I travel outside US during EAD processing and can come back again to USA. If yes, for how long i can be outside US?
2) Will after coming back same EAD work for me, or, I need to apply for the newer one to get the work permit.

Your L2 EAD is based on your status and that is verified through your I-94. If you travel, you return the I-94 and you don't hold a status. Travel during processing is not recommended.

Once processed, your EAD remains valid if you travel and return.

in case if i need to travel during the processing of EAD, then will it trigger any kind of bar on my reentry to US. After coming back can i apply again safely for the EAD
