L1 Stamping while one holds H1

I am holding the H1 from the Y company[future employer] (H1 stamping is already done.). Now my current employer want to process my L1. If I go for L1 stamping then will my H1 will get cancel/void which is already stamped?

The petition remains valid unless revoked by the employer. The visa, it depends on the VO. It could end up being marked CWOP.
