B1 to L1 transfer

Hi friends,

I came to US in B1 multiple entry Visa and later my employer got my L1B done when I was in US itself. I guess this is a status change, right?

My query is, if I want to go back to India for a vacation and come back to US, will I need to apply for L1 freshly or just need to get stamping or is there a different process? Please provide your suggestions.

---- You need to get a L1 visa stamped on your Passport and enter the US with L1 and a I-94 issued at the POE valid for L1
