Hi,
I came to us in nov 2006 on L-2 and got my EAD in Feb 2007 and start working for employer and my employer apply for my H1b that got valid from oct 2007 to sep 2010. I got my H1b stamp in oct 2008. Now I want to came back on L-2 visa.I need to know
1) I need to file I-539 from for change of status with USCIS. What should be the effective date
2) My Husband company has filled his blanked petition and his L1 visa is going to be expire in aug 2009 but he has I-94 till 2011. Can I file L-2 on that Basis.His company has not filled his L-1 ext beacuse he has valid I-94 till 2011
3)I look into I-539 Instructon PDF, it is being mentioned that L1 employee I-129 petition need to be send along with documents but That I-129 will be valid till aug 2009. would It be a problem ??
4) Can I apply for change of status by myself and what all documents are requied
