Need help on L1B Visa

Currently I am on L1 B visa working in the US for an Indian company.

Since my assignment ends in another 1-2 weeks I've been asked to go back to India but my husband stays here on H1B.

Can I apply for a long leave in my company on L1B and stay in the US as long as my husband stays here when he is on H1B? Please let me know.
