  • Question on L2 after a previous 221(g) yellow for H4

My wife had visited Delhi consulate in Aug2007 for H4 stamping, they gave her a 221(g) Yellow slip to apply at Chennai and entered a special instruction of 'Must wait 120 days before applying in Chennai'. She didn't go to Chennai as I had come back to India by that time and we didn't need the H4. Delhi consulate also has put a small stamp on my wife's passport (on last page) indicating date and 'Application Received' status.

Now, I've a L1A visa (stamping done in Aug2008) and we want to go for L2 for my wife and kid at Chennai consulate.

    My questions are:
    1. Though it will be a fresh appilcation for L2, what kind of issues/questions my wife can expect during the interview? Would there be a possible delay or 221g again?

2.Does it (previous 221g) mean a 'Yes' for question 31 in DS-156? (Have you ever been refused a US visa?)

3.She was working and quit her job 2 months ago. She had temporaray work visas to UK and Europe (Schengen). Does it cause any issue?

Thanks for the quick reply. Would you suggest any other precautions to be taken due to the previous 221(g)?
