How to cancel L1B

Hi,

I got my H1B last week and I received the passport through my new employer.

At the time of H1B stamping they forgot to cancel my L1B visa, which I got from my current employer. My L1 is valid till next year.

Please tell me the procedure to cancel my L1B Visa.

Can I directly approach Chennai consulate for cancellation?

Your L1 visa can remain valid on the passport. It isn't something you need to worry about or lose sleep over.
