  • My name incorrect on L2 Visa for wife and son

I just received the stamped (L2) passports of my wife and son and both have my name spelled incorrectly. The appointments are taken by my employer's BEP and our office guys have filled the petition details. I checked with VFS helpline and they asked me to submit the passports, a written application with a fee of Rs.359. I've read a similar previous post but my questions are a little different here.

    My questions are:
1.Will it (sending it to consulate etc.) create any problems? Do I need to take care of anything else to get this corrected? Appreciate if someone can share their experience

2.My wife doesn't have a surname in passport. So, we have used her name as surname and FNU as Given name in DS156. Visa stamp bears the same, is it OK to have 'FNU' as given name on the stamp. I just want to confirm.

    2. No problem. But you could have corrected name on the passport before even going for visa.
