Having H1B and applying for L1B

Hi,

I am having H1B visa for employer A, got stamped last year but not yet traveled to US. Now my current employer B wants to apply for L1B.

Will I face any issues if go for this? What would be consequences?

Thanks txh1b.. So you mean to say that Visa office will not cancel my H1B?

The petition remains valid. The actual visa stamp may be marked CWOP depending on the VO during the interview. That does not mean you cannot use the H1b again. You just need to get a new visa stamped if that happens.

You can also explain that you plan to get back on H1b later on and they may leave the visa as is.
