L1B Individual - Can I take part time courses in a musical college?

Hi,

I hold an L1 B individual visa. I would like to take a part time course in sound engineering - music. Is it legal to join the course in this visa status?

You can go to school part time without having to apply for a F1 visa when you are employed full time on L1B. I know a couple of my X-colleagues who did their part time MBA (Evenings and weekends) while on L1B. However, check with the school that you are applying for to make sure if they accept students who are in L1B. Most school's only accepts students in F1 visa.
