Visa stamping for L2

Hi

I am on L1 and my wife is on L2. We do not have a valid visa but are on an extension which is till end of 2010. My wife needs to go to India. My questions is can she go for stamping without me having a visa(As I am not accompanying her and will not go out of USA till she comes back).
