  • L1 Blanket Blue Form

I have attended L1 Blanket interview on 20/11/2009 in chennai consulate and they gave me blue 221(g) form saying your petition is not in the PIMS database.

What is the next step? Any idea... Do I need to go for the interview again or ??

Let you know once go through your petition" llike that. Also she returned all my Original I129, 797 AND Passpost. She takne only one xerox copy of my documents.

Still i didn't get any status from consulate. Can you some one help me what was my next step? Need to contact consulate or not required? or need to attend interview one more time?

Contact the Chennai consulate's helpdesk. If your PIMS information is not available during the visa interview, it will usually get updated within 2-3 weeks from attending the visa interview. You can also email them @ [email protected] explaining your situation (You will need to provide them the details of your approval notice).

Usually, when the PIMS information is not available in their database during your visa interview, it would take approximately 2-3 weeks to get it into their system. So keep checking with the consulate. Once they have your information available, you will need to send your passport for stamping.

Btw, if possible, please scan the 221g blue form that you received and post it here (remove any personal information) so that it would be very much helpful for the other members.
