    L1A to Green card

    My company is planning to get me in to the L1A category from L1B for obvious reasons.
    Once in to the L1A visa how soon do you think its advisable to go for a GC petition?

    I was told that applying for a GC immediately after getting the L1A will not go well with the USCIS. Does anyone have prior experience in this?
    Pls advise
