For long can I stay out of US on my L1 Visa

Hi,

I am on a L1 Visa and working for a firm in USA.
I am visiting my parents in India and would like to know for how long can I stay out of US on my visa.
Kindly advise.

You can return back anytime before your visa expires (Provided you still have the job and a valid petition). However, keep in mind that sometimes you might get the I-94 only till the visa expiry even if you have an extended petition.

Hello, Please let us know the duration for which the family (L2) of L1-visa holder can stay in the US after the L1 -visa holder has quit his work and the visa is still valid for another year? Thank you in advance for your support!

0 days. The day you quit your job (on L1) you will loose your L1 status. Validity of L2 status (dependents) is based on your L1 status. So when you go out of L1 status, they automatically loose their L2, even though their visa is valid for a longer duration.
