Hi,
I am confusing about this form and my situation like this:
- I already got the L1 visa valid until Aug 2010 without my wife at that time. And now I intend to bring my wife to US as well under L2 visa. However, I did fill the I-156 and make an interview for my wife, but unlucky, she was rejected for the Visa because in the DS-156 I wrote the answer for " Purpose of trip" is " Visit my husband and travel as well" and the " Time to stay in US" is 3 months. I think that the reason they rejected is this answer.
So, could you please advise me how to fill correctly this form? What field we should make more clearly?
Should I re-write the purpose is: Accompany my spouse. and time to stay is 3 months? or I can write more than 3 months following my visa?
