Can L2 work with SSN and without EAD

Hi Folks,

I am L2-spouse and got SSN recently which states,"Valid for work only with DHS Authorization", could you please let me know can I work only having SSN and without having EAD.

No. You need to get the EAD to work.

I'm not sure if something has changed recently. But, dependants on L2 can't get SSN without EAD. If your EAD has expired or your status has changed (ex. L2 to H4), you can't work.
